Meet Your Instructors
Mitchel M.- Lead Firearms Instructor
With over a decade of dedicated service in law enforcement, Mitchel began his career in January 2014. Throughout his tenure, he has played a pivotal role in the training and development of newly assigned patrol deputies, focusing on both fundamental and advanced law enforcement tactics, as well as firearms proficiency. He is a certified SWAT operator and a qualified instructor in Defensive Tactics.
Mitchel has been instrumental in the design and implementation of a wide range of operational scenario-based trainings aimed at enhancing public safety. Notably, he coordinated a comprehensive multi-agency training exercise involving U.S. Border Patrol, New Mexico State Police, local county and municipal law enforcement, fire departments, dispatch, and EMS personnel. He has also collaborated with the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Training Division in the planning and execution of specialized exercises for elite military personnel.
Mitchel is a firm believer in the importance of preparation to confront the ever-evolving challenges and threats faced by both civilians and those sworn to protect them. His commitment to readiness and excellence reflects his unwavering dedication to serving and safeguarding his community and nation.
Polo C.- Lead Firearms Instructor
With nearly a decade of law enforcement experience, Detective Polo C. brings extensive knowledge and real-world expertise to firearms instruction. As a member of a Tactical Response Team and the lead firearms instructor for his department, Polo has spent years refining his skills through operational experience, continuous training, and a commitment to excellence.
Beyond firearms training, he has served as a Field Training Officer, Field Investigator, and general law enforcement instructor, further showcasing his versatility in law enforcement training and investigative work. His firearms expertise covers a broad spectrum, including self-defense, law enforcement tactics, concealed carry, competitive shooting, and high-performance tactical training. This diverse background ensures his training is adaptable to shooters of all skill levels.
As an instructor, Polo is recognized for his engaging, challenging, and fast-paced teaching style—striking the perfect balance between fun and safety. His goal is to push students beyond their perceived limits, equipping them with the skills and confidence they need to protect themselves and their loved ones.
